psychedelic cleanser

I recently discovered soap bubbles as a macro photography subject, and I'm astounded at their colorful little world. This is ordinary dish soap doing its thing. What, you've been taking soap for granted all this time?

Did you add any color to the soap either at the time of taking the photo or during editing? This is a truly compelling picture. I'm very intriqued by it. I used to teach preschool and we kept the kids entertained for hour with soap bubbles.

Ha - it's not just preschool kids who can be entertained for hours with soap! I plan another soap photoshoot soon, since this was so fun. And no -- no added color, though that's an intriguing idea. This is all just the natural color of the soap film, amazingly enough. You just need to look very closely...
